Sentimental Tuesday

Good morning mudrabelles!!!

I didn't blog that much yesterday because I had a difficult time getting it on with my positive vibes. Napaka-nega ng araw ko kahapon, lekat na yan! Spill over ata yun nung weekend.

Last weekend, Alvin informed that there was already a buyer for our 18 year old car, Mitzi. We got Mitzi in 1994, the same year that I first met Alvin. In all those 18 years, ang dami na naming napagdaanan with that car. It was what Wowa asked Alvin to drive when he took me to my prom in 1997. I learned to drive using that car. I often borrowed it to go to my gimiks. Mitzi saw me through all my landian, break ups, happy times, depression stage, achievements etc. In short, there were so many memories with that car. And then when Wowa bought her own car already, she gave Mitzi to Toots. Ayun, na-attach din ng bonggang bongga ang kapatid ko sa kanya. Yan yung kasama niya when he hit rock bottom after his failed relationship. When Wowa bought Toots a new car, she gave Mitzi to Noel, our youngest. Siya din ganun. Na-attach na din.

Last week when Wowa decided na ibenta na si Mitzi, I received a text message from Noel:

NOEL: Ate, ibebenta na daw ni Mama si Mitzi

ME: O? Ibibili ka naman ni Mama ng bago di ba?

NOEL: Pero si Mitzi may family value yun, nasa atin siya since bata pa ako. Mitzi is my car din.

I wasn't sure how to answer that so hindi na ako nagreply.

Then last weekend, when Alvin told me that there was already a buyer for Mitzi, I called Toots.

ME: Kukunin na daw si Mitzi nung bagong may-ari ngayon.

TOOTS: Ngayon?! As in ngayon na?!

ME: Oo. Gusto mo ba sumama kay Alvin? Pupuntahan niya ngayon.

TOOTS: Sige.

I was feeling choked up pero I didn't entertain it kasi hello, car lang yan. It's a non living thing.

And then I received a text message from LT who was with Toots that time.

LT: Na, binenta na pala si Mitzi? Lumapit sa akin si Toots umiiyak. Akala ko kung napano na. Yun pala, nabenta na si Mitzi. Eh mas grabe pa iyak niya ngayon kaysa nung nagbreak sila nung ex niya eh. Hehehe.

Di ko alam kung matatawa ako or what.

After a few minutes, Alvin and Toots arrived at our house. They came from where Mitzi was supposed to be picked up by the new owner. Ay sus. Magang maga mata nung kapatid ko. Akala mo anong nangyari. I wasn't looking at him kasi baka maiyak ako pero wala din. I got teary eyed when I saw him so sad. Lalo pa nung when he posted this in Instagram:

Ay. Naluluha na naman ako.

Ang sentimental namin ano? Hahahaha! Bu-ang na bu-ang lang ang peg namin.

When Wowa heard about this, hindi mo alam if she's amused or annoyed.

WOWA: Hay naku! Nagkakaganyan kayo kotse lang! Crazy! Eh di wag ibenta yan! Eh sinong gagamit niyan eh lahat kayo may kotse! Crazy!

ME: Eto! Parang wala kayong pinagsamahan ni Mitzi! Hindi ka ba na-sasad man lang?!

WOWA (in a small voice): Bato na kasi ako anak.

Hehehehe.

We had good times with Mitzi pero as what life is, we must move on. May kirot pero ganyan talaga ang buhay, ika nga kay Mama. People will come and go in your life. Same with things.

Whew!

Tara, dito naman tayo sa masaya!

Wowa read Anika's wishlist here in my blog. So eto, nagdala sa bahay ng napaka-daming Amsterdam clothes for Anika.

Si Wowa naman, di na mabiro.

We went to Zara in Rockwell last Sunday too and found this super duper cute coat for Anika. She fitted it and she looked so adorable!! As in. So Wowa bought it for her =)

Cute ano? Okay na ako sa clothes in Anika. Shoes na lang ang kulang and tights. The tights I will buy them at SM. The shoes? Baka I'll buy her another red sneakers. Trademark niya naman yun. I found one at Superga in Greenbelt. Mura lang pala dun.
