Question Answered: Black Spots on Legs

Guys I know I suck at replying immediately to your comments here in my blog. I'm so sorry. I really, really (repeat 10,000 times) appreciate all the comments that you leave. It really makes my day talaga =) And to tell you the truth, I read each and everyone of them. Especially those who appreciate what I wrote that day. Natutulala pa ako niyan kaka-ulit basahin. There's this question that I have been asked plenty of times. Na-itanong kay Wowa ulit today. Nakunsensya talaga ako because maybe feeling niya mas sumasagot pa si Wowa sa comments kaysa sa akin. *sniff!*

To make bawi, I'm dedicating a post for that question in this blog. Here's the question.

My answer is actually, I didn't do anything!!!! Back then, Anika had plenty of black spots because of insect bites. The oldies told me just to let it be because mawawala din daw yan paglaki. One of Alvin's aunt told me that when her daughter (Alvin's cousin) was a toddler, her legs were tadtad with black spots because of insect bites. Pero as she grew older, nawala. 'Day, ngayong dalaga na siya, she has the nicest and most makinis na legs that I have seen!!!

Same with Anika. I didn't do anything. They just faded away. Maybe because the skin stretched? I dunno.

Oh wait.

I remember one of my readers told me that she put lotion over the legs and then powder every after her daughters' bath. Nakakaputi daw yun ng legs. Gaganda daw ng legs ng mga dalaga niya ngayon because she was very patient doing this and nagging them to do it later on.

When I read that, I instructed Girlie to put Physiogel lotion then Johnson and Johnson powder on Anika's legs. Girlie did it for like siguro one month lang then di na din nai-tuloy. Maybe that helped?

So if your baby's legs have black spots now, you can relax ng konti. Konti lang because I know how you feel especially that you have a daughter. Alagang alaga natin yang kutis nila. Nakaka-inis tingnan di ba those dark spots? Pero even Anika's pedia said that we can let it go for the meantime. Mawawala din daw. Or if you want, you can try the lotion and powder application on the legs every after bath. Baka mas mabilis makawala =)
